Basically Cheer CIC is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company that operates the Hub. Our purpose is to provide activities, events, classes, and support services for local people and families.

 

The Hub is home to a variety of community activities, including:

• Book Club

• Coffee Afternoon

• Playgroup

• Afterschool Club

• Cheerful Kids

• SEN Parent Support Meetings

• Basically Bambinos Playroom

• SEN Social Club

 

The hub relies on grants, fundraising, donations, income from some activities, and the support of our wonderful volunteers to continue providing these services.

 

Keeping the Hub Open

Basically Cheer CIC is responsible for the running costs of the Hub itself, including rent, insurance, utilities, maintenance, and general upkeep.

 

The annual cost of keeping the Hub open is approximately £26,000 before the costs of delivering any classes, activities, or community projects are taken into account.

 

Every donation, fundraising event, grant, and booking helps us keep this valuable community space open and available for everyone to enjoy.
