Dance Classes

At Basically Dance and Fitness, we offer a wide range of classes including dance, cheer, street, acro, ballet, and tap, starting from as young as 3 years old.

We offer two different pathways for students to choose from, depending on their interests and goals.

 

Competitive & Showcase Teams

Our Competitive & Showcase Teams are perfect for students who want to commit to a weekly class and enjoy performing.
Students will either:

• Compete in cheer competitions and/or

• Perform on stage in a show production

​

We highly recommend that students in our competitive teams also attend a Technique & Flexibility class, where teachers focus on improving technique, developing tricks, and increasing flexibility.

Non-Competitive Classes

For students who prefer a more relaxed environment without the pressure of competing or performing on stage, we offer a wide range of non-competitive classes.

Many students begin in non-competitive classes to build confidence, get comfortable in the studio, and get to know our teachers — and later choose to progress into our competitive teams when they feel ready.

Ballet & Tap Classes

We also offer ballet and tap classes, where students work towards a recognised syllabus. When ready, students will have the opportunity to take exams.
